Mark Suffolk to receive Royal Honours from Queen Elizabeth II

The Queen’s New Year’s Honours List for 2013 was published today, recognising the achievements and service of extraordinary people across the United Kingdom. Honours are conferred by sole discretion of the Queen with advice from the Prime Minister and Cabinet Office and are granted to deserving and high-achieving people from every section of the community, from charity workers to leaders of industry. The United Kingdom’s honours system rewards people for merit, service or bravery.

The Queen has been graciously pleased to signify her intention of conferring the honour of Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) to the undermentioned:
Mr. Mark Andrew Suffolk, Founder and Managing Director, Suffolk Pointe Shoe Company Ltd. for Services to British Manufacturing.
Recipients of honours will receive their awards from The Queen at a ceremony known as an Investiture this summer at Buckingham Palace.
